I’ve been to the Smokeys, and the picture at the top of your ad is nothing like the scenery in the Smokeys. I think the picture is of Pettit Lake near the Sawtooth National Forest, in Idaho. This would be funny if it weren’t so downright deceitful. The scenery the Smokeys is very pleasant, and worthwhile seeing. But it is highly unethical to cause potential customers to think that this is the kind of scenery they are going to see if they go to your campground. Some customers may not have done much traveling yet, and be naive enough to think this is the kind of scenery your campground actually has.

Thank you Chris. The photo was unfortunately taken from Smokey Bear Campground in Central Idaho. We appreciate the feedback and the photo was replaced :)

We love Smoky Bear campground, we had our wedding there in June 2016. Had an outdoor ceremony in the grassy area at the lower end of the pull through sites and a reception in the club house. It is a great small campground nestled in the forest along side the highway it is quiet and peaceful without the hustle bustle of the tourist campgrounds.its a short drive into Gatlinburg or Pigeonforge.

We stayed there in 2014. We came for 3 days for a wedding and fell in love with them and stayed for the whole week instead. Just close enough to everything. We would drive to the shuttle and take it to town. There was a nice little restaurant near the shuttle stop and also close to the crafter area and zip lines.
