Just in time for the holidays, the Lewis & Clark Caverns in Whitehall, Montana will be hosting their annual Holiday Candlelight Tours starting on December 16th.
Historically, Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park is Montana’s first and best-known state park. The caverns and electrically lighted, providing safe visits and visibility of the caves’ natural wonders.
The park features a 40-space campground, 3 cabins, and a tipi, as well as picnic sites, firewood, flush and vault toilets, showers, a group use area, RV dump station, grills/fire rings, drinking water, and food and beverage/gift concessions.
The park’s visitor centers and 10 miles of hiking ground are sure to keep campers busy when they’re not out exploring the caverns. Cabin campers are encouraged to bring their own sleeping bags, although cots are available, as well as their own appliances, as electric outlines are provided.
