American Heritage RV Park, VA


Located in Historic Williamsburg, a stay at the American Heritage RV Park is as close to camping your trailer inside of a museum as you can get. Coming in at over 300 acres, the recreated buildings mostly stand on their original foundations. Adding to the fun, the recreated town features taverns with staff dressed like Washington and Franklin themselves!

American Heritage RV Park is the perfect destination for history buffs and families looking for education destinations. Featuring parades authentic to the period, as well as destinations such as blacksmiths, candle-makers, bread-makers, and more. Their costumed interpreters have undertaken years of study in order to present themselves as the founding fathers and their contemporaries.

Outside of historic exploits, the camp also includes a pool, nature trail, library, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and horseshoe stations. Laundry facilities as well as a dog park are also available.

The American Heritage RV Park’s full hookup sites are equipped with water and sewer access, as well as electricity,  as well as Wi-Fi and cable. According to their site, these spots are able to accommodate RVs of any size.
